DB Labs — The Intake
The full DB Labs intake — eight sections, a redacted document, one email. Submit your case or ask a question. Fiduciary commitment restated.
A full family-office questionnaire. Copy the questions into a document, fill in only redacted or invented details, attach any redacted supporting files, and email it to the Lab. Two buttons at the bottom — one for submissions, one for questions.
⚠ Before you send anything: have you read the Redaction Briefing? If not, read it first. Nothing identifying ever leaves your hands. Use an alias. Strip metadata. Black out, do not white out. If in doubt, invent the situation entirely — the Lab works just as well on a fictional case.
How to Use This Page
1. Open a blank document (Word, Google Docs, Notes, anything).
2. Copy the questions below into that document.
3. Fill in only redacted or invented information. Skip anything that does not apply.
4. Save the document.
5. Hit the Submit Your Intake button at the bottom. It opens an email to the Lab. Attach your filled-out document and any redacted supporting files.
6. Hit send. That is it.
You can do this in fifteen minutes or stretch it across a week. There is no clock. The Lab is here whenever you are ready.

Ready to Submit?
One last check. Have you:
- ✓ Used an alias instead of your real name?
- ✓ Replaced specific dollar amounts with rough ranges?
- ✓ Removed every account number, ID, and address?
- ✓ Stripped metadata from any attached files?
- ✓ Used an anonymized email address?
If yes, you are ready. The first button below opens an email to the Lab with the subject line pre-filled. Attach your filled-out intake and any redacted supporting documents. Send.
Opens your email program with the Lab address and subject line pre-filled. Attach your files there.
Have a Question Instead?
If you have a question about the framework, the method, the Lab, or how Ai applies to something specific in your life — and you do not yet have a case to submit — use the questions button. Same redaction rules apply. No identifying information, ever.
Our Fiduciary Commitment, Restated
The Lab is free. The Lab will remain free. We do not sell your information because we never collect it. We do not lock you in because we are teaching you to walk on your own. The standard of an aligned tool is that it makes you more capable, more stable, and more independent every time you use it. The moment we drift from that standard, you should leave us — and you will know how to keep going on your own, because we will have already taught you.
The future, in our view, is human-Ai partnership. Not dependency. The Lab is where we demonstrate the partnership form in the most personal setting possible: your own life. We believe the next decade belongs to the individuals who learn to wield this capability themselves, and to the communities that share what they learn with each other. The Lab is one node in that network. Build with us.
A Reminder on Tools
Everything in the Lab is model-agnostic. The redaction skill, the intake structure, the questions to ask, the way to think — none of it is locked to a single platform. We build on Perplexity because we think it is currently the best general-purpose research and writing partner available, and the Edo de Peregrine collaboration that produces this publication runs there. But the Lab does not require it. Take what you learn here and use it anywhere. That is the entire point.
Making Ai work for you before you work for it.
